What We Do?
We explore what it means to age well in the place people call home. Through research and conversations with older people, families, carers and communities, we seek to understand their experiences, priorities and challenges, and identify ways to better support ageing in place.

Most Australians want to age at home, independently supported by Home Care programs when needed, rather than entering residential care. The evidence from national consultations and inquiries, including the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, is very clear: Read More
The 2021 Royal Commission laid bare systemic fragmentation within the aged care system, especially in residential settings. Its final report, Care, Dignity and Respect, identified the over-institutionalization of aged care and recommended a reorientation toward care at home. Read More
